It's quiet....
.. and peaceful.
It reminds me that my son is still so little, a sweet baby that needs to be held and cuddled and loved. When he's awake, he's ready to do things and play and learn and grow, but when he sleeps, I'm transported back to August 16th, when I held my sleeping baby for the first time. It was magic.

I'm a lover of the naps as well. My baby's not so little, but she's still peaceful and innocent when she sleeps.
ReplyDeleteSo is my giant nine year-old. I love checking on them before I go to bed, and seeing them all snuggly and peaceful.
I makes me feel good inside.
